Hello?

Anybody out there??

I know this blogosphere is HUGE and its really hard to make it...I am not in the fashion industry, nor like to be in it (I'm more of a geek, I'd like to dabble in Informatics) but I do this blog just to keep myself occupied...wear a few clothes, share a few thoughts and take a few pictures!But lately I have this surge of empowerment by the response from some of the bloggers with their drop-in comments! Hence, I would like to thank all those who check out my blog, (even if they stumbled upon my site by mistake) but it really makes a difference to me, and for that I am really appreciative to all my followers :)

Birthday Post!

I know its a little late, but here it is...''

I didn't do anything big this year..just shopping and dinner, but I do this 10 day countdown till my birthday where I make a wishlist and give major hints to all my friends and family so that I get at least one gift everyday! Its the only way I can milk all I can from my loved ones :)

 I love December!! Three reasons why I love December..

1. Its my Birthday!!! and I love it that I can drag it until the end of the month!
2. Its Christmas...who doesn't love giving  getting gifts?
3. Its Winter..so layer on!! Best Season!

Fashion is an art!

Let me tell you this first, I have NEVER EVER painted before, but I surprised myself (I do that quite a while, like when I made my own dress...Wait, that qualifies as a whole new post!!;) when we went to a paint party studio for my sisters birthday, and I had an amazing time!! They give like 3 hours to paint, and sip wine while you do it, and you can bring your own food! Now, THAT's my style!

Look at me, I'm so focused, making sure my brush strokes are perfect!! NOT.

Hurrah, my work and WHOA!! its looks exactly like that over there, (if not better!!) for a first time painter, I'd say, well done mate!! Pat on the back!!...Ok, now I'm being narcissistic, I have to STOP! 

 

FYI I love my Zara shirt!!

My sister painted this, and we were like, Hell yeah!! Why  not pose! I just  went "Off with the heads!" Kidding, but how cute is that!?

Stripes and Polkas

I've wanted to do the layering thing  for quite a while but can you believe it that I didn't have a single shirt that was long enough or for that matter, a single sweater that was short!! Fortunately, I had this stripe sweater which was the exact length that I wanted and could let my denim shirt layer through.

Btw, I wish I'd bought a smaller size of these corduroy pants, I usually wear a size 12 (Kids, I am only 4'11-don't mock me!!) but I thought since its corduroy I may need to go a size bigger so I got it in size 14 but I am beginning to get those loose areas around the knees the more I wear it! I wonder if I wash it in hot water and dry in super heat, it may shrink a little bit?? hmm...DIY # MakeUrPantsFits on its way!!!

Sparkly Sweaters

Donned a sparkly sweater to one of my friends soiree this weekend, it was one of those days with dark skies as if about to rain but holding out just yet, and the evening was perfect for a little chunky sweater with glitter sequins on it. Paired it with polka dotted corduroy pants and wedge booties.

Vintage finds

I am addicted to buying vintage pieces, especially for my room. I really like collecting eclectic thing I am a hoarder! I love that they tell their own stories which makes it so special than just buying from a pottery barn. My sisters and I went to our local flea market and I found this Russian porcelain egg jewelry holder which I immediately fell in love with. It is so elegant and feminine and it now looks perfect in my vanity!

Meet Bobbi

This weekend was really a mall weekend! I literally spent both days in the mall..and I also attended Bobbi Browns Fall Makeover event! It was really fun! The make up stylist always have the best stories to tell, and accompanied with champagne and fruit bar, it really couldn't get better!

Leather & Bows!

I never thought I'd wear leather, nor strap a pussy bow on my neck!! but I am going to eat my own words and wear them instead...but I also knew I could not wear them here in my little southern town (avoid stares!) Thus East coast it was. Perfect for an OOT!

When I went to Aldo and saw them, I swear I saw a halo around them and I knew I had get it. I am obsessed with these loafers, and nowadays my whole wardrobe revolves around them! Who isnt obsessed with this year's fave summer trend?? Long Skirts!! Hello?? Its just the perfect hippie boho-chic look that I love. I bought a sheer one just yesterday, and ill upload a pic as soon as I get a chance to wear it! (Hallelujah, Tax Free Weekend!)

The skirt I'm wearing is from F21 (obviously! ha ha) so I like to upgrade the look with some brand accesories..you know 'Mix and Match' brand labels.

• This one is with an imitation of Hermes Collier de Chien that I found in, where else?? F21! I was giddy with joy when I found this!  I always rummage through F21 like a lunatic because you never know what you get! Trust me.

• For this, I paired it with a Marc Jacobs watch that I got for my graduation!

So there you have it, my summer essential no.1 this year! Cheerios :)
